Our Commitment

New Technologies

Fleet Modernization

We are dedicated to staying at the forefront of emissions-reduction technology for our fleet. One way we achieve this is by maintaining a modern fleet with an average truck age of only 2.3 years, significantly below the industry average of 5.5 years. Our equipment is outfitted with state-of-the-art features such as aerodynamic packages for tractors and trailers, speed governors, idle-reducing cab heaters, and automatic manual transmissions (AMTs)

By the end of 2020, we converted nearly 100 percent of our fleet to AMTs, which are estimated to improve fuel efficiency by approximately 1.5 percent compared to traditional manual transmissions. This transition to AMTs has resulted in a substantial reduction of 781 metric tons of CO2e in carbon emissions, as estimated by F&S. We remain committed to advancing our sustainability efforts, staying at the forefront of innovation in the industry.
