What exactly is a Conestoga?

Conestoga trailers remove the most physically demanding part of flatbedding: tarping. The trailer uses a sliding track system to allow the built-in tarp to slide open and closed. Picture a soft sided Dry Van.

What kind of securement is involved?

Most of our Conestoga loads will require chains and straps, but no tarping! Don’t worry too much about this part; we will cover securement in great detail during orientation. You’ll get ample hands-on training, and we’ll make sure you feel comfortable with all of it before sending you out on the road!

What are the advantages of Conestoga?

Customers love it because it adds a layer of protection for their product.
Drivers love it because you get to reap the benefits (think $$$) of hauling flatbed freight, but save time and energy by not having to throw tarps!

You’ll be paid 27-30% of the load, based on your production.

 

Over the last 4 weeks:

  • Company drivers on our Conestoga division have averaged $1,531 per week, which averages out to over 72 cpm.
  • The top driver in the division has averaged $2,934 per week, or an average of 98 cpm.

We strive to get most drivers home for an average of 48 hours per week. However, actual hometime may vary based on your home location, freight availability, and route schedules.
